In this Workers Compensation Law update, the current law in Michigan is explained, along with a recent House Bill No. 5002 introduced by the legislature, which attempts to codify all the recent Michigan Supreme Court decisions and create a new category of ‘partially disabled worker’. Injury attorneys feel this reform will harm the worker by unfairly reducing benefits.
