The premise behind the event is to give the public access to lawyers in different practice areas for an initial consultation, at no charge. 15 minute consultations will be set up between lawyers and guests with legal questions at the event. The guests can speak to a number of lawyers if they have legal questions on a variety of topics, since many practice areas will be covered. Please refer to the attached flyer for a listing of the different practice areas. Some attorneys will have exhibit tables set up, and guests can talk with them there also.

That’s the case with social media and the Stored Communications Act, a statute enacted in 1986, before the internet, email, and social media existed and became an every day occurrence.
