I interviewed two Oakland County attorneys for their perspective on Social Security Disability law. They remarked on past delays in getting a hearing date, and anticipate delays to increase in the near future. When over 60% of claimants are denied benefits and there are delays in getting a hearing to appeal the denial, the disabled individual is at risk of losing everything.
